I have had a great experience so far working with Farheen. It was quick and easy to set an appointment when other practices that I reached out to had month long waits. I felt like the intake process really set me up for success with my appointment by helping me to outline what issues I was having and which ones I wanted to prioritize most. I thought Farheen asked good questions and helped me to feel heard. She helped outline what my various options were and what things I would need to do personally along with possible medication in order to get the mental health outcomes that I am looking for. I also appreciated that I could do a virtual appointment and that I got lots of reminders via email on when the appointment would be and what I needed to do beforehand to be prepared.

I feel comfortable with Dr. Makani. She is a great listener and explains things very clearly.

Listened to everything I said, didn’t interrupt me or cut me off. Even though this wasn’t a therapy session, and I knew going in it was for medicine management, she listened to the root cause of some issues and took that into consideration. She was much better than the other psychiatrist I saw and im glad I got a second opinion from her because she recommended against what my other psychiatrist was doing.
